Cruise Ship Guests
How much time do I need from my ship docking before our charter departure?
We recommend 1.5 to 2 hours from the cruise arrival time to get to our dock. The cruise ships use tender boats to get their guests on shore, which means it can take up to an hour to get off the ship.
How far are you from the cruise ship terminal?
We depart for two docks, depending on the boat you book. Camana Bay is about 5-10 minutes by taxi from the cruise ship terminal, and the Cayman Islands Yacht Club is about 10-15 minutes from the cruise ship terminal. You will receive full details of your departure location in your booking confirmation email.
Do you provide pick-up at the cruise ship terminal?
No, unfortunately, we do not. However, you can easily get a taxi from the terminal to our docks.
How do we get to your dock from the cruise ship terminal?
The easiest way to get to our dock from the cruise ship terminal is by taxi. Many transport officials are walking around the cruise ship terminal, wearing blue polo shirts. If you ask for their assistance, they will allocate transportation for you. The drive takes about 10-15 minutes and costs $5-$6 USD per person. On returning to the dock, you can ask the captain to call for a taxi to meet you at the dock, ready to take you back to the cruise terminal.
How do we get back to the cruise ship terminal?
Your captains will call a taxi for you to get back to the terminal with no problem. Just let them know during your charter that you’ll need assistance.
What happens if the weather is bad or my cruise ship doesn’t dock on the day of my charter?
If your cruise ship can not dock due to weather or rerouting, we will refund your deposit in full.
Where can we buy drinks and food to take on our charter?
There is a fuel station called Anchors next to the docks in the Cayman Islands Yacht Club, where you can stock up for your charter. We can also arrange to have food and drinks on board for you. Liquor stores don’t open until 10:00 am in Cayman, so if your charter is before then and you’d like some alcohol on board, just let us know beforehand, and we’ll make it happen!
