Ft.Lauderdale Air and Sea ShowAfter five long years, the Ft. Lauderdale Air & Sea Show, now renamed the Lauderdale Air Show will return at noon on April 28th and 29th over the ocean on Fort Lauderdale Beach!  The four hour line up will be headlined by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.  The U.S. Navy Seals elite parachute demonstration team, the Leap Frogs, will be jumping in the American Flag for the National Anthem and then putting on a performance like you’ve never seen before. Every branch of the United States armed services will perform in the show. The VFC-111 Sundowner, a US Navy Reserve adversary squadron based at Naval Air Station Key West, will perform an F-5 Formation flight.

Big 105.9This year’s Winterfest Boat Parade marked the 40th Anniversary of the Parade themed “Rockin’ Boats & Holiday Floats.” Nearly 100 boats from compact cruisers to massive barges were all adorned in holiday decorations as they set navigated from downtown Fort Lauderdale up the Intracostal waterways.  Charter One was proud to take place in the celebrations by having two vessels participate: the Floridian Princess and the Summer Wind. Special congratulations to Anthony Coal Fire Pizza and Big105.9 who won “Best in Sound” in the Showboat Category of the Winterfest Boat Parade winners. Anthony Coal Fire Pizza and Big105.9 were aboard Charter One’s Summer Wind .
